So how did I Gain Fat and Lose Muscle Even With The Right Workout ?
Over the course of a week I’ve went overseas but still had the right workout at the gym in the hotel. However, I’ve binged incorrectly and unequally distributed the portions of food throughout the day. Sometimes eating 50% fat, 20% carb and 30% protein, and at times 5% protein 90% carb, 5% fat in irregular intervals throughout the day.
I’ve somehow met my caloric requirement thus maintaining my weight at 66 kg, however I’ve lost 0.5 kg of muscle and replaced it with fat.
I ate most of my caloric requirements at night and ate around 1000 calories more or less and only ate around 2-3 decent meals a day.
Even after meeting the protein requirement in every day, I still managed to gain fat and lose muscle.
Thus, in conclusion, you can always out eat your workout and as always, time and time again, I’ve proven to my unprepared self that building muscle is fifty fifty between nutrition and the right workout. One can’t live without the other. And also, that timing is everything.
