 Intermediate Arms Workout For Arms Workout Day

I don’t typically do an arms workout nowadays, but i did dedicate a day every cycle for arms only once during the early days of my program.

Here is a sample arms workout program that I did using only free weights.

Alternate Dumbbell Curl
EZ Curl
Hammer Curl
Concentrated or Concentration Curl

Skull Crusher
Tricep Dips
Alternate Tricep Extension
Tricep Kickbacks

It is typically advisable to work large groups of muscles in a workout day, however, this varies from person to person.

For more pronounced musculature in the arms area, some professional body builders even dedicate 1 day just for bicep development and another for solely triceps development.

The advantage of working out your arms though is that it requires relatively less time to catch your breath when doing so because they are smaller muscles compared to your larger muscle groups.This gives you time to workout on other muscle groups such as the core or the lower body.

Another benefit of doing arms workout is the increase in functional strength as well as muscle size. ¬† And lastly, arms are one of the muscles that noticeably gets bigger, since it’s one of the muscles that is not covered, and is used day to day.
